The World Teacher said, “When two or more come together, I shall be there”. Fellow souls, what do you think he meant by this? Well, He means many things. The Plan of the Spiritual Hierarchy, of which the Christ is the outstanding leader of, is about Group Work. It is the idea, the reality, of us coming together and creating what is needed by all. Perhaps we need to also consider what He does not mean. He does not mean that we do not matter as an individual, for we do indeed require His utmost love and compassion, but that we, as a group, matter more, because as a group much more can and will be created and achieved. My friends, it is a practical matter. You see, as an individual, as a personality, we are learning about certain unique qualities and abilities that we will eventually add to the greater whole and therefore make it be even better than what it was before. Do you see what is implied here? It is an awareness of the greater group to which we belong that is the goal. It is our intent to figure out how we fit in, and what we will in fact provide to it. This is the first part of our journey, to develop our individual quality and experience. It is painful, for it involves a temporary awareness of being separate. But, if we remember our ultimate goal of becoming conscious of the group, of being together, of becoming inclusive, our individual uniqueness will become secondary and given over to that which we all have in common, what we all share. This is the nature of the soul, and it is the World Teacher, the Christ, who is the outstanding example of what the group-soul is. The real work of the World Teacher, then, the Plan of the Spiritual Hierarchy, is to make us aware of ourselves as something much more than just a single person in a vast sea of the unknown. It was never intended that we believe ourselves to be truly alone, to shoulder all the responsibility, and at the same time, being painfully aware that our effectiveness in this world is ultimately limited without the help of our fellow human beings. So, “When two or more come together in my name, I shall be there”. You see, if the World Teacher came to each of us as an individual person, the emphasis would be placed on the separated self, having individual needs be met first, rather than a full awareness of the common needs we all share which must be met first. The work of the World Teacher is for us to come together and work as a team in common purpose and objective. The vast sea of the unknown becomes the known with our understanding of ourselves as One Humanity. The Plan for us, is for us to be together. In this simple willingness, all we intend to accomplish, the betterment of each human being, the improvement of all world conditions, and the obliteration of all suffering and misunderstanding can and will be achieved.
The work of the World Teacher is not just about the development of love and compassion, what we view as spiritual or religious undertakings, but the improvement and inevitable success of every department of human living. Science and medicine, government, the arts, healing and education, business and finance, all religions and philosophies, are part of the One Work, His work. My friends, do you sense Him, can you feel Him, are you becoming more aware of each soul who already works together as one group? This is the subjective side of life, what lies within, and it is our ultimate goal to bring this subjective life to the outer, physical world in which we live. The presence of the Christ is stronger and more established today than ever before. It is real. He is real, and the Spiritual Hierarchy of Souls is equally real and therefore entirely present. You may ask, “are our governments, the various sciences, even the business world, part of a grand spiritual design?” They must be, for the universe in all its beauty and glory is nothing but the life of spirit. Spirit is One. Spirit is a group. The unfortunate reality that there is currently little awareness of this basic fact within these various groups will be overcome, when the ultimate reality of spirit, the life of the Christ, is no longer denied by anyone. Let it be said, there is no individual, no entity, no group, no institution, devoid of the essential living spirit. This spirit is made of the substance of love. Love is the magnetic force. Love is the beautiful and perfect glue that brings all together into one unified whole. Each group, and each individual within that group, makes the One Spirit, the One Soul, be exactly what it is. The overshadowing of the World Teacher is essentially a more complete awareness of who we really are, that is, a group of like minds and like hearts, together in one goal and one purpose.
So, what is this group work all about? How will working together in mutual cooperation help us move forward in every possible way? How will our understanding that we are not alone help us achieve all that we know must be achieved? As always, my friends, it’s important that we be practical. Being part of a group, and understanding what that means, is just that. It is what the group intends to create that has all relevance, not what the individual apparently wants or needs. Self-sacrifice must be accepted and put in place if the group is to be successful in its creation. The purpose of your particular group will be realized when the soul of the group is understood as the leader, as the real center. There is, therefore, no one individual who is the center. Again, as a practical matter, if you believe you know the right way, if you believe that only you have the correct answer, if you believe there is only one way, then the group-soul, the World Teacher, cannot be present. When the individual self is forgotten, all shall be available and given. Does this sound impossible? It is not. Remember, when we allow ourselves to feel a part of something much bigger, the unnecessary pressure we impose upon ourselves is removed. We feel better! Bring all hearts and minds together to sense the bigger picture. The details, you ask? This is where our individual experience comes into play. To bring forward what the group is creating, each individual performs their specialized function. One does this, one does the other. Fellow co-workers, we are manifesting an idea in our particular area of human living. All of humanity benefits by the work of each group. We simply seek improvement. We intend a new way, a better way. This gives us every inclination to try new things. We must be open to various kinds of experimentation. If our efforts do not work, then guess what? We have every opportunity to try something else. It is a brand-new world, a brand-new reality, we are building today. The only possible failure we could have is to keep recreating the old ways, which we already know do not work, at least, not to the extent we would like them to work. We intend to take hold of the soul’s vision, the sanity of the present, not the insanity of the past. It is our time today to accept our ability to create something new. The work of the World Teacher is not complicated, nor is it something we should fear. He shall be with us in our willingness to try, to try together. That’s all there is.
The Overshadowing of the World Teacher, the Work of the Christ, is a blending, a fusing, a coming together, of the spiritual and the physical, of the subjective life and the outer life. The spiritual life tends toward Oneness, or inclusiveness, indeed a group orientation. The physical life tends toward differentiation, with an unfortunate and temporary experience of separation. The soul, my friends, is not a separate entity apart from the physical self or personality. Who we believe ourselves to be, then, is merely an extension of something much greater. If we simply allow the energy of our soul to come through us, we will know of our real self, we will know of Oneness, as opposed to a temporary separation and isolation. Because the soul is already group-conscious, we must follow in line and become the same. What exists below is an extension of what exists above. The first separation that must be healed is between our physical self and our higher, spiritual self. Then, the idea of a group begins to be realized. The next separation that must be healed is between one group and every other group. You see, we are already part of many groups. We have our gender, our family, our friends, our nation. We have our religion, our race, our line of work, and indeed our planet as an integral part within a greater solar system. But, it is One Group, One World, One Humanity, One Universe. Our realization must always be that of a moving forward into a fuller awareness of the next higher, more inclusive, group. We are not really separate from anything, nor have we ever really been separate from one another. It is an awareness of everything we have in common that will ensure our success. It is everything we can improve upon together that will ensure our journey toward eternal greatness be achieved. It is our Spiritual Hierarchy who represents the group-soul. It is the World Teacher, the Christ, who represents the principle of cohesion, essentially, the reality of togetherness. Love is the attractive force that brings and holds all things together. Indeed, it must be the force that allows us to truly be together and achieve the greatness we are entitled to. At an individual level, we do have the right to be healed, to feel and know of love. Yes, we deserve to speak to the Christ, to receive Him as one of us. I must say, He is the most comfortable person to be around. He is the best of friends. The Masters of the Wisdom, the Great Ones, are the same. They have no judgment, only love. They have no sense of wrong, only compassion. Can we be like them? Even though they have their own special kind of work, within their seven groups, they fully realize that all within their group are needed to make things work for the even greater group to which they also belong. Our situation, our work, and our need, is the same. The seven departments of human living, government, education, science, religion, philosophy and psychology, etc., are all required to improve humanity and the world. Again, it is One Work. The only thing our Spiritual Hierarchy asks of us, is to see that we need one another in order for things to work here. This is the essence, the true nature of the group. If any individual insists that they are the real essence of the group, they will surely fail. If any group believes they are the only group that matters, as something apart from every other group, they will also fail. Yes, the group matters more than the individual, but not at the cost of any such individual. Yes, the soul matters more than the human being, but not at the cost of any such human being. And yes, the Spiritual Hierarchy matters more than the human hierarchy, but not at the cost of that very human hierarchy. When humanity realizes itself as a spiritual family, then the Spiritual Hierarchy shall be known and indeed will come forward. The two become one. The group must have all priority, and the individual within the group must provide his or her best self, so that the well-developed qualities, hard-earned, can be added to the greater group. In this way, the group can and will, therefore, serve its essential purpose. It is an individualized selfhood within a greater whole, indeed within a greater good. The Kingdom of God is ours.
The overshadowing of the World Teacher is an awareness of the soul

The small self gives way to the real self

Our own higher self, our soul, is the One Self, a One Self made of many
*My friends, there are many groups forming all across the world. Some have a spiritual focus, some work in humanitarian efforts, and still others work in the areas of government, the sciences, etc. Although ultimately, it is the soul purpose of each group that must have all priority in order to eventually express its real purpose, there are obviously many individuals with their own personalities that must be contended with in order that the group function properly. And, this new group effort is still entirely experimental. We see some success, and some failure. It’s ok. We would have all of you continue with all attempt and all dedication. Let it be said, personalities don’t always get along, and this produces unnecessary friction, and therefore greatly inhibits the forward movement of the group. Although this is undesirable, it is normal and to be expected. So, have it be everyone’s goal to leave all personal differences and issues outside the perimeter of the group. In other words, let it all go before you come together. Having said that, all aspirants and disciples have issues and healing they are working on. Perhaps you could help one another resolve these issues and bring in that most necessary healing. This is also part of group work and purpose. But, do this on the side for the most part. Remember, it is the intent of every group to come together, in mutual cooperation, for discussion, study, and the building or creating of something that will improve humanity’s condition. This is the actual center of the group, where all focus and attention must be given. You see, you can help one another at a personal level, for it is love that you have all clearly developed. And, you can also give the highest priority to what your group is creating at the same time. A difficult process, certainly, but we are well on our way to success.
**For those of you who have a more substantial background in the Ageless Wisdom Teachings, one of the greatest examples of a true overshadowing was that of the Christ and the man Jesus. Technically, these two great teachers were not the same person. It was the Christ who overshadowed the man Jesus in order to produce one of the greatest spiritual happenings humanity has ever known. These two entities came together in mutual cooperation, they blended and became one. This was for our understanding, for it is our soul who wishes to blend with our physical self or personality in order to produce the real self, something greater. It was, therefore, quite normal and necessary for the Christ and Jesus to prove to us what will eventually happen for all. In a way, although technically not so, the Christ represented the soul, and Jesus represented the personality. A metaphor, my friends. In actuality, the Christ has his own soul, and Jesus has his own soul. But, the Christ represents the Oversoul, or the group-soul. The man Jesus represents the personal or individual soul. The process is the same for us, and this is what these two came to show us. It is our ego who fears some other person taking over us, hence the trouble of moving forward. My dearest friends, we will always have our own identity. In fact, we always do this blending all the time in our practical, everyday living. Two or more minds and hearts come together to create something better. It is simply a coming together of forces and energies in order to create what is intended for all of us. Again, we will always know who we are, we are simply becoming more aware of a greater part of ourselves. A Self we have always been, you see. It is quite normal, natural, comfortable, and welcomed. It is beautiful to know, to be, the next best thing. Let us thank the World Teacher, the Christ, and the Master Jesus, for showing us the practical implications of our very own process. It is the overshadowing of our own higher nature, our very own soul. We are eternally grateful for that great spiritual drama that happened so many centuries ago. A time that was meant for us in this time. Let us allow the beauty and perfection intended.
