Together we achieve
The urgency at the center of the human experience today is one of action. We have awakened to a true spiritual power that no longer exists above us or outside of us, but within us. It is a power we have earned because we have learned how to love. It is a power we can use correctly because we understand its very necessity. It is a power we share, for we have realized that only together can we achieve. This urgency at the center of our being is not a political one, it is not a religious one, nor is it an economic one. It is all of them. Today, dear friends, we stand up and say “No More”.
Faith alone can no longer be our only way, you see, for if this true spiritual power is to become a human power, then it must be expressed with all loving intent in every possible way, right here where we live and breathe. It is our common interest that makes us equal. It is our common purpose that provides the impetus to create a better world based on justice, fairness, and opportunity for all. Again, fellow souls, these things we need are not born of a material world, but of a spiritual world. Indeed, it is our time today to work together in love, and all success will be ours.
Those who live in selfishness and self-interest live in darkness, and they intend to take us backwards some 500 years or more. Dear friends, if you think our present time is filled with insurmountable challenges, it is no comparison to the challenges we faced then. We must act now, and a future filled with the light and love of our very own souls will become the new reality in which we live. Yes, a spiritual power found and used. The work of the Christ is our understanding of these powers of the soul. You see, the Christ is not a person, it is a way of being. From this place of being, we become the way of doing. The nature of the Christ is therefore not a passivity, but a full engagement. It follows, then, from this state of being, a state of being based on love, we act. This is true spiritual power. It cannot be used alone, indeed, it must be used together. In this way, the World Teacher works through us. In this way, the soul is real.
