From the darkness comes light! The beginning of the universe existed as a formless abstraction, so the darkness can be understood as unexpressed creativity. God’s intent was to make something of himself. A way for us to conceptualize this is to see the original “Divine Spark of Creativity” as a branching out of universal intent. As this divine creativity becomes more physical, it also becomes more specialized or focused. The One becomes the Many. Our conscious experience of ourselves as physical beings is the most concrete expression of the greater universe. We are, in a sense, the “physical” part of God. All are part of creation, you see. Everything in this enormous universe is connected and has its own specialized focus and purpose within the greater whole. The ancient adage “As Above, So Below” will be our premise.
