“The Father Creates and the Mother Sustains”

Religion 3717899 1920

My fellow human beings, we exist in a universe based on duality. Essentially, there are two parts that make one whole. It follows, then, there are two parts of ourselves that make us whole. If we are to understand the true nature of our universe, of ourselves, we must comprehend the ancient adage “As Above, So Below”. We will better grasp our real purpose, and be able to more consciously participate in that purpose, by understanding ourselves to be not only one part, but all parts. From a higher, spiritual perspective, we have the Divine Creative Spark, the impetus of creation itself. Of this, we can know little. The other part is of course that which is created, all that we know ourselves and our universe to be. Of this, we must know all that we can. To a certain extent, then, we cannot necessarily know why we exist, but we can know who and what we are. We can know everything about what has been created, for this is our Divine Right. Why creation happened in the first place, well, we must be patient and wait.

In our physical world, we have the male and the female to represent the universal duality in which we exist. Remember, however, the universe, all life, is but energy in constant motion, and there are two parts of this energy required to complete the creative process. The one becomes two, the two becomes three, and the three becomes one again, making it be more of what it is. Basically, we have the outgoing creative spark that wishes to find a home, and we have its counterpart which receives this outgoing energy in order to create something new. A rudimentary understanding of the nature of energy suggests it is the male portion of this energy that is the creative impulse, and the female portion is the form it takes. For those of you who are able to grasp the esoteric implications here, the father is life and purpose, and the mother is form and consciousness. From yet another angle, it is the father who is will, and the mother who is love. When these two parts come together, a third is created. But, my friends, we must be careful not to take all of this literally. In other words, the physical coming together does indeed create another form, a child. But, it is the higher coming together of the spiritual and the physical which creates consciousness. It is purpose and love which create intelligent activity. We are the soul, we are the creative intelligence that completes the Divine Trinity. Purpose, love, intelligence. Father, mother, soul. Again, we must be cautious when we attempt to interpret the Divine. This leads to great misunderstanding. All is but One, and we are indeed part of the One. Having stated this simple truth, we have nevertheless subjected ourselves to some basic misunderstandings, and we’ll get to these in just a moment.

From the universal perspective, the highest spiritual realm is simply the creative spark of will and purpose, or the father aspect. All else, all that has been created by this spark, all that we know ourselves to be, is the form that creative spark has taken, or the mother aspect. Yes, my friends, our physical lives and our physical world are the mother. The father is not yet known. The implication is that whether we be male or female physically, we are the receptive part of the creative process. We receive from above the divine impulse to create. The father is the idea, and the mother is the form that idea takes. This is the reason we are here. We are learning how to create. Because we are indeed part of the mother aspect, our role is basically to sustain the life we have been given. We care for all life, and in this caring, we receive the divine impulse to improve upon it. This is our purpose. We understand ourselves as the mother, in all that we are and all that we do.

So, what is it that we misunderstand? My friends, what came first, the chicken or the egg? Did the father create the mother, or did the mother create the father? I think we have the opportunity to be humble and know, beyond any doubt, no human being has the answer to this question. Humanity and humility must be interchangeable, you see. Basically, we are attempting to define God, or the universe, from our limited experience and understanding. To make God be a man or a woman, we can never know God. When we make the man be more important than the woman, we can never appreciate how the creative process works. One needs the other in order for creation to be complete. Without both, we could never be. God is all things. Unfortunately, all the religions of our world, especially the Catholic Church, have somehow created the idea that it is the father, the Divine Spark, that has all importance. The seed has all relevance, and what is created by that seed, the mother or form, matters not at all. Does that make sense to you? To all of my fellow brothers, you could not exist without your fellow sisters. We could not be without the love of the mother. We could have no awareness of our very selves without the consciousness the mother provides. Let it be said, we could not be without the essential purpose the father intends to reveal, either.

The resolution to this dilemma, to the painful duality in which we exist, is to know that we are both. We must recognize that our physical self is but a temporary manifestation of the divine. Divine means everything. We are both man and woman. Within each of us lies the ability to create, and the very important ability to sustain, to love, what has been created. The woman can initiate and lead, and the man can love and care for. If the man believes his purpose is only to provide the seed, he will do nothing else. If the woman believes her purpose is only to stand back and sustain, all by herself, no matter what, she will surely fail. She will never understand her ability to create. If the man creates and then leaves, he will never understand his ability to love and sustain, he will also fail. The problem in our world, therefore, is an unnecessary state of imbalance. My fellow brothers, you must know, in most cases, the woman does almost everything. Why do you not appreciate her, then? Why do you not respect her, and give to her in return? Let me remind you, the form, the mother, the woman, is not to be abused. Your purpose is not to be served, but to serve. My fellow men, you must feel and you must love. If you pay all attention to the divine spark alone, you will never share what you have created. This is what we need you to do, to love, to sustain, to share. And to all women, you must take charge of your life and learn how to lead. Be the initiator, and teach the importance of love to your male counterparts, especially your sons. To achieve a better balance for yourselves, you must stop expecting men to protect and defend at all times, and then laugh at them when they feel the need to cry about it. We all have our work to do. The man can step back and allow the woman to lead. The man can lead also, but he must do so from the place of love. This, the woman knows better, so fellow brothers, be in your natural receptive state and ask her all about it. The woman can pay less attention to emotional reaction, and do what needs to be done without fear. This, the man knows better, so ask him about that. Each of us has a man and woman who lives inside us. We must use both, we must be receptive to both, and create what is needed by all.

If we return to the universal perspective of duality, we must know ourselves to be the physical counterpart to the spiritual world. Yes, the divine spark is given a home, a place to be, through the mother. All of us are part of the same mother. What is birthed is the ability to create. This is the consciousness of the child, the soul. It is who we are. All of this happens through the vehicle of love, so we can understand ourselves to be love, to be a product of the Divine. The Divine is spiritual and the Divine is physical. This, we must learn everything about, and our purpose will then be revealed. We are part of the mother first, and the father will be understood next. So, we must receive what is being offered, and appreciate all of it in every way. The father creates and the mother sustains. We as the mother love the life that has been given. We create, and we care about what we create. Love is cooperation in this sense. Whether we be man or woman, we are love first. We are souls first, we are spiritual beings above and beyond all else. To be human is to be humble and accept. To truly be human, is to know of the ongoing need to truly become the Divine. No matter what we see on the outside or the inside, we are all things. Yes, we are everything we see, and we are much more. My friends, can we work together? Can we be all that is, by seeing each of our fellow human beings as the same? Can we be like them? Can they be like us? The father and the mother live within. We are the creator and the created. We are complete, we are whole, through the beautiful and perfect manifestation of the soul. We continue with the creation of the love this soul is, when we realize that no man or woman is more important than any other. Again, love always reveals what is necessary, what is essential. The spiritual world has no more relevance than the physical. And, the physical world certainly has no more relevance than the spiritual. As Above, So Below. As on the inside, as on the outside. You, and me, and we. All is one thing, not many. Let us proceed together, then, and bring forward the One. Let each of us be a man and thereby be willing. Let each of us be a woman and thereby sustain. In this way, peace is always ours, and unity will be seen as the only way. With all effort, with all knowing, we succeed.

Virgo is the universal mother

She nurtures and sustains the indwelling Christ

The nature of the Christ, the soul, our very consciousness, is love

In this, we live, we move, we have our being

The spiritual child is born

Creation is now complete

Brothers and sisters, be well, and prove the reality of love to be the only reality that is. It is both man and woman, for it is all that is.
