“The Future of the United States Is in Our Hands”

Globe 5834815 1920

My fellow Americans, momentum is ours! With all our strength, with all our dedication, we must maintain this momentum. We must not forget where we come from, where we are now, and where it is we are going. The majority of us, yes, have finally realized that we do indeed create our own reality. We know, it is hard to hang on and stay focussed, as things seem to be happening so fast. I assure you, this will turn out to be a very good thing, for the new and better reality coming our way has been mandated by us out of pure and practical necessity. Because things appear to be changing so rapidly, it is difficult to remember some of the very important happenings of the past that have created this opportunity we have now. Whether consciously realized or not, the majority has decided to move forward into a better future for all, and even more importantly, we have figured out that we must be fully committed to this inevitable outcome. We must remain involved, and do all that we can.

You see, my friends, our future is no longer dark and bleak, our future is in fact what we create today. Our future is full of light and promise, because we now know, beyond any doubt, we must work together in order for us to have the better future we all want. Without one another, we can create nothing at all. This is what freedom really means. It is a community, a group of like minds and like hearts, which is required to make things happen. If we want access to freedom, to resources, to opportunity, then we must see that each of our fellow brothers and sisters need the same. We cannot have only certain members of our society be more important, while the majority of us are left behind. We cannot have everything only for ourselves and let everyone else have nothing. Let me just say, it is our demand to be different and special which has created the struggle, the apparently insurmountable struggle. When we come together and see ourselves as basically the same, the struggle ends. What we ask for, we must be willing to give.

To all of our young people in this great country, you can create the better future you see, today, by exercising your right to vote. I understand what it is to be a young person, for I indeed was your age not so long ago. My friends, you are entirely immersed in a grand idealism, but you must also recognize the obstacle of impatience you encounter at every turn. I promise you, you will grow into a sense of calm, trust, and surety, by understanding that you cannot have everything you want right now. The creative process, establishing the better way, you must work toward. Begin today, and tomorrow is yours. Practicality is about seeing each step as a way to produce what you envision. One thing reveals the next, and success is well on its way. We need you to bring the most important ideals that you have forward to this nation now. Beautiful young souls, you have much to say, you have a great deal to offer. Vote who you are.

To all of our older folks out there, you have done well, you have achieved, and whatever you were able to achieve is enough. You have worked hard, and all of this hard work has allowed you to actually know something. As difficult as it may be, let this be a time to let go and allow the younger generations to take charge and improve upon all of it. I understand as we get older, we become a little more conservative in our approach. But, we need to be honest and recognize that a little more conservative really means a little more fearful. Please, do not allow your fear to inhibit the progress that is possible. With your love and understanding, open a space of opportunity for those who will follow you. No matter who you believe yourself to be, no matter what you are identified with, it is the Democratic Party who holds the greatest value, who is able to provide the most opportunity to our young people today. These are the people who will protect our country, keep us safe, and continue creating a greater freedom we must all have. Give yourselves a chance to do the right thing as never before. Vote your conscience, vote your heart, and give back to this country what you have gained for yourselves. Let this be a time for a new reality for you too. We can change our minds at any time.

To all of our wonderful immigrants, to all of you who are simply trying to create a better life for yourselves and your family, you must know there are some who do not want you to be here. They have no awareness of where they come from or why they are here. They have no recognition or appreciation of what they are being offered in this beautiful place. Yes, they are attempting to make you be the scapegoat, and project their own fear and hatred upon you. What you must understand is that there are many who were born in this country who also have very little, and are attempting to create a better life for themselves and their families, just as you are. What you must do is exercise the compassion you also have, and be patient, and be ok, with the anxiety some of your fellow Americans have about your presence. What you must know, is that although there are some who do not want you, the majority of us do. No matter how conservative your particular belief system might be, including your religious views, you must see the Democratic Party to be the best way forward for you. The Republican Party has unfortunately disowned you in the past, and you have been given no reason to believe that they will change their minds. They will tell you they care about you, but they have never shown this to be true with their policies and actions. Join us in the majority today and vote correctly. Together, we can create the country and world we wish to be so.

My friends, I have always indicated to you the importance of letting go of the past. But, letting go of the past cannot be a negation of our memory. Our past does serve a purpose. The only value our memory has, is to know what has happened, and what those happenings have created. The good things must be brought forward, and the bad things must be changed. If we forget, if we let go of the past prematurely, if we refuse to change the bad, then we will continue to live in the past. The past will have all control over the present, and this past will, therefore, have served no essential purpose at all. We will have no present moment of opportunity, you see. Our past has no reason to haunt us, if we do the right thing today. Having said that, let’s remember, duly and appropriately. Let us, therefore, be properly motivated. If we allow for change, the better will always be available. Let us allow our memory to serve us properly, then, by considering the following.

Although the Covid-19 crisis seems forever ago, it was just a few short years. My friends, we didn’t know if we were going to make it, if we were even going to survive. We could not go to work, we didn’t know how we were going to pay our bills, or if we would have the money to buy food. Do you remember? The cold, hard reality at that time is that we desperately needed help, and we had no certainty help would be available. The cold, hard reality was, in fact, that there was no help. We were on our own. The extreme wealth of the Corporate World, and the obscene wealth of certain individuals, was nowhere to be had. They provided nothing for us, they offered no help, absolutely nothing. Again, I will tell you, the Democratic Party is the only option we have if we ever expect these atrocities to change. Let’s remember, however, let’s remember, we did come together and help one another during that difficult time, with or without the help of those who had the most help to give. We did what we needed to do anyway. We were there for our fellow human beings. We proved to ourselves that we care. We could have done so much more with adequate resources, though, right? Again, when we have what we need, we are likely to do the right thing, always. Let this time, this greatest of opportunities, be the same for us today as it was then.

Other than the terrorist attack that brought down the World Trade Center in New York, it was the storming of the United States Capitol that was the most shocking thing that has ever happened in my lifetime. My dearest friends, people were killed, many were injured. This great American tragedy is the responsibility of Donald J. Trump, and all the minions who stand beside him. Even more importantly, it is the responsibility of the Republican Party who did nothing to stop them, and who continue to do nothing to stop it from happening again. Let’s remember, it is the wealthy who hire the Republican Party to do their bidding. The only things that matter to these people, and to the Party who supports them, are money and power. This must be changed, and only we can change it. They cannot change, so it is we who must change.

To all of you who rely on Obama Care, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the like, it is the Democratic Party who created these very important and necessary programs. The Republican Party has never, and will never, have any interest in supporting the needs of the average American citizen. These facts are clear. I must say, these programs are not giveaways. We have worked very hard to have what we need. All we are asking is that the super successful give us a way to also be successful. If we were to be honest, my friends, there would be no need for such programs, if sharing was the way we go about our lives. The Republican Party lies, cheats, and steals. We must take responsibility by accepting the fact that we have allowed them to do so. Although we ultimately do not owe anybody anything, I think we need to support the Democratic Party, who have done their very best to provide us with every opportunity, fairly, openly, and honestly.

My fellow Americans, there is nothing more I can say. This is the most important opportunity humanity has ever been given. There are few of us who do not understand the gravity of what is before us. The choices are clear, and the decisions we must make are even clearer. It is a time of the greatest potential joy. It is not about money, or power, or getting our way at the cost of all others. It is not about political party, or value systems, or beliefs. It is only about our freedom. It is about a simple recognition that we must work together in order to create peace, and fairness, and goodness. The Democratic Party sees the best way forward, beyond any doubt. The future of the United States is upon us today. This is the most important election of our lifetimes, no matter our age or generation. We can make the moral and correct decision, and create a better future for all, by voting for the Kamala Harris and Tim Walz ticket. And, we must go the extra mile and vote for the Democratic Party up and down the ballot also, for it is indeed Congress who creates the policies and legislation that affect our very lives. Today is today. Today is our day, today is our time. Today is the best day ever! It is up to us. Without us, nothing we hope for can ever be.

*A special note, and a special thanks, to all of our friends, all across the world. The future of the United States is uncertain. We need your help and support in order to succeed. The government of the United States is not perfect, nor are its people. But, we are doing our very best to pave a way to a brighter future for all of humanity. Please, let go of any criticisms you may or may not have of us for now. Say a prayer, do your meditations. Send us your light and love, for all are needed to create a better world. What happens in the United States affects the entire world, for better or worse. This you must know. We appreciate all that you have done, and will continue to do. It’s going to take all of us to open the door wider. Everything matters, everyone matters, more today than ever before. With that, we send you our light and love. Thank you.

Thank you for being here, my friends

Proceed to the ballot box in November, make your voice heard

Together, we achieve!
