Would you like to know the what, where, and why of it all? Do you believe we have a right to know? Boy, I certainly hope so, for God, the universe has no interest in us remaining ignorant. After all, a loving God would indeed want us to know the purpose of our existence. An intelligent universe would like us to participate! My friends, to put all mystery aside, there is a system of laws and principles which apply to all life forms within the greater cosmos. Yes, that includes us. Call it universal law, call it God’s law, call it what you would like. You see, these laws provide structure for us, some parameters, for we need to know what we’re working with and, more importantly, we need to cooperate with them in order for our own lives to work as intended. The more we know, the more successful we will be, and the more comfortable we will be. Although freewill is also a principle within our wonderful universe, even it has its limitations or boundaries. In other words, the basic laws that underlie and permeate all things are designed for very specific purposes, and we have little say about their functionality, and we have little ability to change them in most cases. Yes, my fellow companions, the Central Life, or God, does have the final say on all matters! I think for the most part, we can accept this, because if we are humble enough, we can also recognize our inability to comprehend things, and this lack of understanding may in fact get us into trouble at times. Hence, the need for us to have some limitation imposed upon us until we achieve that greater understanding. An increased understanding implies that we must know how to use what is available within the universe in a proper way, in a beneficial way. The fact that we do not currently have the capacity to comprehend the entirety of purpose is irrelevant. What we can know, and should know today, is that there is most definitely a Greater Plan, a Higher Plan. We can therefore be ok with not having a say, because this Higher Plan, designed for us, has within it everything we hope for, and probably much more. It is our goal to more consciously participate in this plan, and what we will find in our future is that we are indeed co-creators within its greater purpose. As our consciousness expands, within our experience, we will eventually know everything we need to know in order to perform our specific role. This is our destiny.
In this series, we’re going to explore some of these laws and principles, in an effort to incorporate them into our lives, and thereby have a better go of things in all that we do. The more we know, the more we can apply. The more we apply, the more successful we will be. Having said this, I do not have extensive knowledge or experience with universal law, but I do have enough to keep things interesting and practical for us. A basic overview is what I intend to provide, as a means to answer some commonly held questions, and to also dispel some of the misconception, myth, and fanciful thinking that has been generated over our long history here. Although our various religions and philosophies have done their best to provide us answers, in many cases, they have merely created more confusion and misunderstanding, and have therefore been largely unhelpful. But, my friends, we can work with that. All that is required of us is an open mind and an open heart. This will allow us the opportunity to find some truth, or at least find something that makes more sense. Our reality, our spirituality, must always be viewed in the context of practicality. In this way, we don’t get too off track, or add to the unfortunate miasma that currently surrounds us. It is a clear vision of intent, and the acceptance of basic premises that will allow the truth we seek to unfold.
First, we must understand that the framework of the universe, and what underlies all life and existence, is of a much more subtle nature than we realize. Universal law, and the principles it employs, cannot be seen or touched, but they are there nevertheless. The sciences of our world are just beginning to understand this subtlety, but they will prove what is said within the Ageless Wisdom Teachings when the time is right. My role is to indicate to you what lies behind the physical part of our universe that these various sciences study. Basically, when in doubt, science is always the best way to go, for it is based on fact rather than speculation. In essence, science will present what is proven, when the majority of humanity can accept it. My friends, for the most part, we will only be shown things when we’re ready. The universe knows what is appropriate, and certainly the correct timing of it all! This we can trust and rely on. Having clarified this important matter, there are many within humanity who have the ability to receive that which the majority will receive at some time in the future. They have more advanced “equipment”, if you will, and it is to this group that this particular material applies the most. Those of you reading these words can infer that you are ready to take on more responsibility as to the well-being and welfare of humanity. It is you who have developed a greater comprehension of inclusiveness, your minds are much more capable, and most importantly, your hearts are open. These things, my brothers, and sisters, you have clearly earned. You may say, “I don’t know very much at all, that’s why I’m studying and attempting to acquire more knowledge”. But, I will tell you, you know much more than you believe. It is this fact I hope to make you more comfortable with, and thereby encourage you to move forward in greater service. To every one of my fellow souls, there is never a reason to fear the exploration of theory, of the possibility of future development, of a simple willingness to expand the mind. It is our effort toward betterment that is our intent, our readiness to bring forward a greater love that is the most important factor. To these ends, I encourage you, always. Let’s begin.
