The struggles humanity faces are numerous and seem at times insurmountable. We feel pressure from above and below in our attempt to be responsible creators. From above, we are impelled to become the unlimited spiritual beings we essentially are. From below, we have the task of taking care of the world we live in and all the life it contains. That sense of overwhelm we so often feel comes from the reality that we stand at the center of all that is. Our job is to resolve all the apparent differences in the myriad of interpersonal relationships that exist. The 4th Ray of “Harmony through Conflict” is the governing energy of humanity today. The experience of conflict is presented to us to provide an opportunity to bring together all that “appears” to be separate. This is harmony. From that higher, spiritual perspective, humanity is the great bridge of consciousness, if you will. We stand between the universal and the physical. We are in a very real way bringing forward what cannot be seen into the world that can be seen. This is our essential purpose. The sense of separateness we experience arises from the feeling that we are not completely spiritual and not completely physical, and yet both at the same time. The experience of this duality is the cause of our discomfort. It has been said that duality is merely an illusion. Our experience of duality can and will be resolved through an understanding of what exists at the center.
What is found at the center of all that exists is love. Humanity is the vehicle through which love becomes a physical reality. Because we stand at this center, we feel as though we are being pulled in all directions. What are we supposed to do, where are we supposed to go? The appropriate metaphor here would be for us to view ourselves as a rubber band. Lots of tension and lots of stretching! The middle has to be flexible and changeable, you see. As we become more aware that we are love and our purpose is therefore to spread this love, the incredible tension we experience will lessen. All we really need to do then is to become conscious participants in this creative exercise. There is nothing more to seek or find. We have arrived. Our struggles will be resolved through an acceptance of our essential role. Learning how to use love properly brings in that necessary sense of responsibility for all of us. We must take care of our planet and use the plentiful resources available properly and equitably. If we are the love we seek, then we must view others as love also and treat one another with respect and consideration. There is no other answer. The conflict we experience arises from our unwillingness and nothing more. Perhaps if we understand what we are creating, or what becomes possible through conflict, we can become willing participants.
Harmony and Beauty
The other side of the equation to conflict and struggle is harmony or beauty. What is harmony but a coming together or blending? What makes this possible is of course the cohesive energy of love. This is the binding force that holds everything together. When we come together, we create something much more than each of us could create separately. The sheer wonder of what could exist is a great motivator. We as human beings, all the plants and animals, everything we see and experience, is a physical representation of God or the greater universe. It is beautiful because it’s the creation of something that did not exist before. If we accept ourselves as co-creators, then, we can see conflict as an opportunity to beautify our world more completely. We have two awesome tools to help us find resolution in all matters, the heart, and the mind. We have everything we need. Our apprehension to pursue wholeness lies in our inability to perceive what the whole looks like. We must accept the premise that our feeling of separateness is only temporary. We will then have the courage to continue our pursuit. We can begin by understanding each human being to be an integral part of one working whole. All parts of the whole are important and necessary. God is not stupid, after all. We’re already together, so let’s be together and move forward together.
The 4th Ray’s Expression through our Institutions
Humanity’s attempt to put a form to its struggle, and therefore provide some meaning, can be found in all the various artistic expressions in the world today. Painting, writing, and music are but a few presentations of this Divine energy. Our effort to understand our struggle produces the most beautiful and visionary artwork and literature throughout history. These forms are a way to understand the reality that we are indeed always envisioning our future and finding a means to bring forward what we envision into our physical world. Certainly, not all of us are painters or philosophers, but we are most definitely artists in every way. We are able to equate artistry to creativity within this understanding of ourselves. Problem-solving is a big part of the creative process, you see. We have been given the tools to resolve any issue presented to us. Conflict and struggle can then be viewed as an opportunity to create something new. We are healing the sense of separation in this creative process. Our ultimate goal is to resolve all conflict that seems to be outside us and bring it back to the inside, where we are in fact already One. This is harmonization and beautification. What a gift!
The 4th Ray’s Expression through the Signs
From the astrological or universal perspective, we can view the signs of Scorpio and Taurus to be the primary influences in the above process. Scorpio represents the battle that exists inside us. The Masters call humanity the “World Disciple” in the sign of Scorpio. Humanity is viewed as one group in the process of bringing forth the light, love, and wisdom of our creator into the world. Scorpio brings in the reality that we are the “spiritual warriors”. We are provided with the courage to enter the dark cave of fear and uncertainty and emerge triumphant. The battle we engage in is the overcoming of fear at all levels of our experience. Once this is accomplished, we realize ourselves as the soul itself. We have now entered the realm of Taurus. Taurus represents love, wisdom, truth, and the light of awareness. This is where the spiritual masters reside. Illumination is the result of all conflict resolved, and is in fact our goal and promised achievement.
The Overall Perspective
To say that being human is difficult would be an understatement! We are all greatly challenged in our attempt to be who we want to be. Our willingness to engage with conflict and find a resolution will prove fruitful in the end. We have begun the process of coming together in common purpose. Love is our partner in every way. Our willingness to overcome fear will result in the discovery of ourselves as spiritual beings. At the center of us can be found only one essential truth, that of goodness. We are doing very well, and we must not forget that. If we just continue to push forward and manifest our vision, we will find some well-deserved freedom. We must however do it together.
All my love and support, stay safe and be well
