Just a couple of thoughts here, friends. We’ll get to those bigger pieces I have listed on the front page by the time the Spiritual Festivals arrive this spring. As always, we’ll see how it goes!
For the most part, companions, I cannot speak to the needs, and the problems, of each individual nation. What I can do is highlight the underlying problems and needs of humanity and the world at large. Within the borders of your own nation or group, then, it is your responsibility to clarify what is happening, what confronts you, and what you can do to improve upon everything that is seen. The most important understanding you must have, is that it’s “we the people” who ultimately decide our given destiny. It is not, then, up to any one person or temporary leader. Group-consciousness must unfold. Again, there are varying levels of this kind of awareness among the many nations and groups in our world today. No matter what type of governance, or culture, or group, you find yourselves in, whether you like it or not, was, and is, decided and created by you. You made it happen. This is Universal Law, and Universal Law cannot be avoided or denied by anyone. We do, in fact, create our own destiny. Now, the differences within each nation or group are based on whether the reality being lived is a conscious one. Conscious decision-making, conscious creation, are entirely dependent on mental ability and capacity. Here we have much variation. A true mental ability would imply an accurate perception and awareness of wholeness, essentially, the group. From a leadership perspective, correct decisions can only be made by a listening to the needs of the people who comprise each nation and group. A consensus of the people must be reached. When the majority of individuals have at least some capacity to think as an independent self, and to recognize that self as part of a greater whole, real power is imminent. To create what is really needed by all now becomes possible. Indeed, it is the people who will then lead, and the leaders of those people will follow that lead. This is a most beautiful, and necessary, transformation in human consciousness. It is a conscious living, an asserting of a true power found. It is a true freedom, a freedom to consciously participate. Yes, a true responsibility is also born.
If you find yourselves in an oppressive type of governance or leadership, then it is you, together, who must stand up. Again, once the majority decides a better reality can be had, the creation of it will naturally follow. If all power is given to the majority, as it should, then the needs of every individual will eventually be met. If we attempt to please every individual, no positive forward movement can ever happen for the many. This simple realization has the utmost importance for every leader. As a reminder, there is no individual, no leader, who has unlimited power. Real power resides with the group. With this understanding, oppressive, abusive leadership is overtaken, denied, and therefore eliminated in every way. Yet another indication of Universal Law. Having said all this, friends, we must give each nation, each group, the time they need to find their own way. We cannot interfere with this critical process. We cannot impose. As difficult as this is for most of us to accept, it is the only way, it is the best way. I understand we wish to be of help anyway, we wish to be of service if we can. The fortunate nations and groups in the world, those who have acquired a mature responsibility, must be constantly aware of financial need. When survival needs are met first, as a guarantee, then the gifts found within the nature of every human being can fully blossom. A mature, loving, creative, responsible, healthy human being is far more likely. Violence, aggression, selfishness, are greatly subdued. The most important form of spiritual service we can offer to any person, group, or nation, is always education. What does every parent do, but educate? What does every leader do, but educate? What does every healer do, but educate? The only help we can truly provide is to create opportunity for all. Fellow companions, we will help when it is asked for, but not before. You see, a true spiritual humility must be expressed in order to truly receive that which is needed. From a necessary vulnerability and openness, all learning, all growth, all development follows.
Each person, each group, each nation discovers what the needs are, what the problems are, and begins to find solutions within their own boundaries first. Leaders will listen to the people or there will be no success. If solutions cannot be found, there is help on the outside. If there is no help there, there will always be help from above. Again, we must listen. All that is discovered will be acknowledged and presented with all honesty and transparency. What is discovered, what is working and what is not, will be shared with other groups, with other nations, and indeed, with other leaders. What is needed will be asked for. To all the leaders in the world, you say, well, we already do these things. My question to you is, do you really? The answer is no, for self-interest still leads you. Self-interest has led to fear, and fear has led to deception. The United States imposes democratic principles, all across the world. But, the United States must establish these very democratic principles within the confines of its own boundaries first. France, Britain, Germany, do you agree? China, Russia, Iran, and others, you control the people, limit the freedom of your own citizens. If you cannot allow your people to see world news, to have unlimited access to the internet, for example, you must have something to hide. The reality you have created, a reality you believe to be correct, is clearly incorrect. A position of weakness is what you exemplify, and every attempt to rule the world through domination, will simply be an attempt to show this world a false strength, beyond any doubt. Believe in the people, friends, and the greatest world ever known, we will create together. So, it looks like we all have some hard work coming our way. Let’s be honest about what is first, then, we let the work begin. We can do it.
Within the greater context stated above, we do of course have our obstacles to face. Yes, the perceived power of the individual. Friends, let me ask you a question. How do we deal with bullies? Well, the answer is much simpler than you realize. The best way to deal with a bully is to tell them no. I guarantee they will fall to the ground. Why do you think this is so? Again, the answer is simple. You see, personal or individual power is self-created. It has no ability to sustain itself. Real power is spiritual power. It comes from that higher part of ourselves. It is the only power that can be sustained. As you know, this higher part, this soul, is a group-awareness within a group-setting. The true nature of that supernal idea, “as above, so below”, indicates the fact that we, too, can only access, use, and apply real power within a group here in our physical world as well. This is why we need to fully understand the reasoning underlying yet another Universal Law, which is, that real power comes from spiritual levels only, from the greater group. It is not, therefore, given to any individual here in our physical world. The implications should be very clear to you. When we give too much credence to the perceived power of the individual, what always follows, is disaster. Again, personal power is self-created. Because it is self-created, it cannot be applied to the group, to the improvement of the group, which must be the intended outcome. Personal or individual power is not real. We have several bullies in the world today. We will deal with them by telling them no.
*Dear companions, I try to make the content at Indigo Mountain available to as many of my fellow human beings as I can. I hope there is something for everyone here. Ultimately, it is a place for those of you who are consciously aware of the Path of Discipleship, what it is, and what it means. But, spiritual need in our world today is great. Everyone must be reached, and everyone can be reached, with your help. Even one sentence, even one idea that you can relate to, essentially understand from your own experience, can be shared with others. There are many levels of understanding. You have yours, and I have mine. Although our understanding may be different, your understanding is just as important and valuable as mine. Esoteric is entirely relative, is it not? There is not, therefore, anything that is beyond anyone’s grasp. That is, if it is placed within the context of current understanding and experience. Take what you get from what is provided here, then, and share it, no matter how insignificant you think it is. You see, there are many others, just like you. With this most basic, and yet most important understanding, all can be reached. Indeed, with your help, all are included, all are loved. Every human being is a teacher. Teach!
Fellow disciples, there is a beautiful simplicity to this work. So, no matter the great understanding you believe you have, remember your humility. In other words, smile when it is impossible. Forgive when it is the hardest. Give when there is nothing to give. Take a deep breath when you think you have found the truth. Beyond any doubt, know, in every moment, you are growing. To grow is to include. The Great Self is. The Group is. The Hierarchy is. The Christ is. Indeed, the World Teacher is here.
Be well
