“Christian Nationalism”

Church gb6ca69786 1920

Can you imagine the Christ standing with an AR-15, eyes full of rage, demanding that everyone does it his way, and slaughtering those who will not comply? Can you imagine the Master Jesus floating around on the Mediterranean on a 100-foot yacht, dreaming about acquiring another billion dollars, with no intent to ever share it? Can you imagine any of the great spiritual teachers who have come before us over these many centuries imposing a belief system on everyone with no apparent benefit to anyone? If this is what Christianity has become, perhaps we need to rethink its true foundation. In reality, the Christian Nationalist Movement that is attempting to take over the United States, and other parts of the world, has no relationship to the actual message of the Christ, or any other spiritual teacher before him or after him. Let’s take a look.

It should be clear that no great spiritual leader would support the killing of others in order to prove a belief system full of nothing but misunderstanding. So, what is Christian Nationalism really about? Well, it’s not about any real spiritual principles, but a simple attempt to acquire an obscene level of power based on selfishness, greed, and the ability to remove a person’s inherent right to choose. I will remind everyone that an individual’s right to make decisions in every area of their life comes from a Divine Heritage, and not from any man, woman, or group. I can also say that Christian Nationalism, or any other similar movement, is merely a political one, based on self-interest and nothing else. And again, this is not a new development, one never before seen, but a happening all across the world since the beginning of time. There have always been people, and groups of people, who demand personal power, while standing behind the guise of a religious belief system even they do not understand. If a person or group needs to stand behind something, or use something to support their personal motivations, acquisitions, and desires, they have no foundation based on truth. The real tragedy is that they require the support of others, who have an equal lack of understanding about life, truth, or a higher spiritual reality. Those persons and groups who engage in such behavior indicate to us the true meaning of, “Thou shall not use the Lord’s name in vain”. Again, perhaps we all need to rethink who we are, what we value, and what our role and purpose in this beautiful world really is.

The most important reminder we need today is that if a religious belief system uses violent means or is based on the taking away of a person’s freewill in order to express itself, it has no basis in reality. Not in a spiritual reality, and not in our physical reality. This is true of any belief system, religious or otherwise, including the one that enslaves us to materialism. Those individuals who are unable to think for themselves, those who are vulnerable and fall prey to these false ideologies, we must love, care for, and protect. Christian Nationalism has no relationship to spiritual truth. Those who blindly follow give real definition to what cult behavior actually is. It is understandable, there are many who desperately want to believe in something, but we must gently remind them of the unfortunate “wolf in sheep’s clothing”. Compassion must underlie our attempt to understand, and to indicate to us proper motivation.

My friends, there is only one spiritual value we need to uphold. Let each find their own way. We can be patient and supportive, for each inevitably will. The path to truth, love, and understanding is the path for all.

All my love and support, be well
