Lying, cheating and stealing, hey, it’s the Republican way! Notice I did not say it’s the American way. The contrast between these two could not be clearer to the citizens of the United States at this time. Are we paying attention? This great country, with so much potential, with so much to give to the world, belongs to us, not just the privileged few. If any person, group, or nation has to lie, cheat, and steal in order to get to the top, they must have something to hide. Let it be said that taking leaves no room for giving. What they hide, then, is their true motivation, what they really intend. However, and this is the good news, it is no longer hidden. Friends, again, it is time for us to wake up. We are waking up, we are aware, more aware than we have ever been. Yes, we are waking up to the innate power we have always had. But, in order for this power that has been given to express its intended value, its actual purpose, we must act upon it, work with it, and use it in every way. Real power is a good thing, but it is also a simple thing, it is not difficult to understand. It is an acceptance our own common sense. Are you being lied to, are you being taken from by this Republican Party, this supposedly conservative group, you feel obligated to adore? Are they the Moral Party if you cannot afford to go to the doctor, if you cannot afford a prescription that costs 1,000 dollars when it should only cost 20 dollars? Are they the Fair Party if you make 15 or 20 dollars an hour and an insurance executive makes 200 dollars an hour or more? Indeed, are they a Conservative Party if they have to borrow money from China, and others, in order to give tax breaks to the wealthy, to those who have far too much already? Is the Republican Party a group who expresses, who believes in common decency, if they continually preach to you about individual rights, state’s rights, human rights, and then takes those rights away from you at every opportunity? If you really care about yourselves, friends, you will pay attention and be honest about what you see, what is actually happening to you, in your life, in your country right now. You will pay attention to what they do, not what they say. People have many words, but these words will only deceive if the actions that follow these words are not given our utmost realization. Yes, we are waking up, and we’re going to do something about it. Again, words mean little, actions means everything.
Now, I know many of you have a very bad habit of telling yourselves that all politicians are the same. They all lie, cheat, and steal. What does it matter then what I do, nothing will ever change. My question to you is, “are they really all the same?” This question is somewhat irrelevant. The relevant question you must ask yourself is, “do I believe that the changes required, to bring to me what I need in my life, are someone else’s responsibility?” The hard truth is that you are simply using this as an excuse to remain entirely lazy, and therefore uninvolved, in the creative process itself. In this way, you will continue to have every reason to complain, or even worse, to look for every opportunity to blame someone else or something else for the unfortunate condition of your lives. Essentially, you will have decided to be a victim, rather than a loving, caring, and willing participant. In reality, you will be telling yourself, “I have no power of my own to change what needs to be changed”. OK, the reality we face today is tough, no question about it. Having said that, it still remains in our hands, and in our hands only. I will be the first person to recognize that the Democratic Party is not perfect. Are any of us? Who among us has not lied, cheated, or stolen at some time or another? But again, there is no comparison between the behavior of the majority of us and the few of us, or, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. All it takes is a closer look. The Democratic Party has done what they were able to do for us in the past, but the Republican Party has never done anything, except for their chosen few. Has the Democratic Party done everything we need them to do? No. Today, they will. Why? Because we have finally realized what we really need, and we have asked them for it. Many of you may ask, “are we simply choosing the best of the worst, then, if we choose the Democratic Party over the Republican Party?” I don’t think so. I think we have to choose those who support our core interests and values, in other words, the most important interests and values we do in fact share. Forget about perfection and immediacy. Friends, we must be patient, it will take some time to create the better way. But, we have also realized that we are not willing to be patient forever. Having said that, it is very important for us to remember that we are shifting our identification with the spoiled child, to an identification with the mature adult. Shared understanding, friends, leading to shared effort. Some immediate results can be delivered with a little planning. And, what can be delivered to the American people will be thoroughly explained at every turn.
Lying, cheating, stealing. Constant deception. These are the only things the Republican Party have ever delivered to the American people. We will no longer be deceived. There is no time to waste. This is how the dark side operates, my friends. If the Republican Party, the Supreme Court, and the super wealthy, do not want to be associated with so-called dark forces, then they will open up their hearts and turn their eyes toward the light. Again, not by words, but by actions. We have much deception to recognize. Each of us must decide who we are, indeed, who we want to be. If you are unsure of who you are, you can be sure the Republican Party will attempt to define who you are, by making you afraid of something at every turn, and that only they can protect you from what they themselves have made you afraid of. So, be prepared for that once again. Essentially, they are going to try to tell you that fear, manipulation, and control are the only conditions in which you must live. In other words, that you have no choices before you. The reality is, there is nothing to fear. If there is nothing to fear, then there is no need for any such protection. You are already protected, protected by love itself. But, you must decide it is so. You decide it is so by being loving, honest, cooperative, and understanding yourself. If you succumb to the fear they generate, if you allow their cruel deception to control you, these greedy and selfish individuals will use it against you, and therefore continue to take from you everything that you need. All of it. Even your sense of self.
The Government of the United States today is composed of a few, white, wealthy, supposedly Christian, men. I’m not OK with that. Are you? Some of them sit on the United States Supreme Court. The rest hide in the United States Senate. A bunch of selfish bullies. They live and have their power, by their use of fear, and by their projection of themselves as a false authority and a false superiority. Tell them no, once and for all. Take your power back, stand up, and do the right thing for yourselves and your fellow human beings. Are we ready to fight? Are we fired up? Do we respect ourselves enough now? There’s no time like the present. We are going to do whatever it takes. Indeed, the Democratic Party is going to break the rules, for that is whatever it takes. This is all the Republican Party ever does, by the way, break the rules. The Republicans have never played fair in any way, shape, or form. Not ever. Having acknowledged this simple fact, are we becoming like them by engaging in similar behavior? Not at all. All things are temporary. We know who we really are.
Pay attention and use your common sense. In this way, all necessary truth is easily obtained. Be aware, friends, always be aware, of the “wolf in sheep’s clothing”. They exist all around us. There are many who believe they are God by their very actions, but they would never say it is so. There are many who are pretending to do God’s work, and all the time, behind the scenes, they are simply doing what God has told them not to do. The greatest power we can recognize within ourselves is to know that we do not know everything, but again, we know enough. Those who say they know everything, who say they know what is best, you can be assured, know nothing at all. Fellow brothers and sisters, we have rights. These rights are human rights, rights that belong to everyone. Are they God-given rights? You better believe it! There is no politician, no religious leader, no person, no matter how much money they have, no matter how much power and authority they appear to have, that can tell any one of us otherwise. We matter, each of us matters, more than we allow ourselves to believe. The Republican Party, the Supreme Court, and all the wealthy ones, are doing everything they can to erase us. Look in the mirror, friends, and see life. We are life, we are love, and nobody can ever take that away from us. But, we must prove that in order for it to be real.
Fellow companions, I almost apologized for my tone in these few words today, but I’m not going to do that. Ranting and raving, exposing myself with some anger and frustration, that’s OK. Why is it OK? Two reasons. First, it is OK, because I know what my intent is. I care. Second, it is OK, because I am an American citizen. It is OK, because I am a human being and a soul. It is OK, because I am a person of the world. It is OK, because I am, indeed, a son of God. You, dear friends, are the same. Let us get to work, let us work together, and let us never give up until we arrive at the place we have always wanted to be. We can do it! Beyond any doubt, we are light, love, and purpose manifested.
