Mr. Joe Biden has decided to step aside and allow his counterpart, Ms. Kamala Harris, to take over the presidential campaign. It was seen as the best step forward, as the best path for the Democratic Party to succeed, and indeed has provided a better way for the American people to fully understand what is at stake in their future. Although this was a difficult decision for all involved, a big change was clearly indicated, and Joe Biden did the right thing, beyond any doubt. It was time to “Pass the Torch”, for his role in this most important forward movement had seen its fruition. This truly selfless act on his part is a great blessing to all of us, and we must be grateful, take notice, and be willing to step out of the way ourselves when it becomes necessary. Sacrifice never indicates failure, only a willingness to do whatever it takes. We are in this together, my friends, and Joe Biden knows this, perhaps better than most. His life and service can be seen as one of the greatest in American history. He is our friend and brother. He loves humanity. Thank you, our friend, for doing your share. Job well done!
The torch could not have been given to anyone better. Kamala Harris is a powerful woman, without question. But, her real power must be recognized in her ability to come from the heart. She sees the importance of inclusion in all that she says and does. She has a great mind as well, and a great mind always brings with it great vision. Her heart and mind gives America, and the world, an opportunity to move into the better future we are now building. Her vast experience brings to her, and us, great skill and ability. She knows what we know, and together we will achieve. She sees the door, she opens the door, and we must stand alongside her by doing the same.
This big change in direction has brought to us two things. One is a full understanding that all forward movement is a group effort, or it could never be. No man or woman can truly succeed without the many. Joe Biden knows this, Kamala Harris knows this, and now it is time for us to know the same. The second is a full understanding that each generation must give way to the next when the time is right. The foundation has been laid, and those that have come before us are never forgotten. They have allowed us to proceed and add the better way. A beautiful and loving transition indeed.
Do you see, my friends, the excitement and positive energy created when we simply decide? Do you see that we must let go in order for the vision to become clearer? Now, the new beginning we have sought unfolds, and we must maintain what has been given us as an opportunity for all. Some will choose to stay behind, and that’s ok. We love, we have compassion, and we know that each will find the way when they are ready. Regardless of any opposition, we must continue to have the truth be visible. In this way, those who cannot see will see when the time arrives for them. It is only fear which produces a temporary unwillingness. It is, therefore, our utmost responsibility to continue, with all dedication and effort, to teach and to heal through this greatest of transitions. A transition in which all of humanity, the whole world, is fully engaged.
There will be unparalleled misogyny, sexism, and racism, but it will be short term. This most important forward movement we have created is so strong, so entirely inclusive, and so absolutely clear, it cannot be stopped if we simply look ahead and see what is coming. Our dreams, what we have longed for, can now be realized with a required patience on our part. We must know, beyond any doubt, we will be given what we need when we are ready to receive it. The time is now. A miracle, yes, but we must never take any miracle for granted. Again, we are focussed, we are grateful, and we are willing to do whatever it takes. Dearest brothers and sisters, we must proceed without violence of any kind, without hatred or exclusion of any kind, and without demand of any kind. Our intent is to maintain a required will, and an absolute humility.
Joe Biden, our friend, thank you for doing the difficult and necessary work. Kamala Harris, our friend, thank you for being willing to continue the work already set forth. The vision has been provided for all to participate in this wonderful and mutual journey toward greatness.
