“The Rise and Spread of Disinformation”

News 1074604 1920

The rise and spread of disinformation is nothing new to humanity. It has been used by those in power, and those who wish to gain power, all through the ages. There have always been certain individuals or groups who believe that they have a special right to know the truth and claim it as their own while keeping it from others. The withholding of facts and truth is used as a tool to control and manipulate others in an effort to maintain positions of power. This is largely accomplished by replacing the truth with lies, false realities, and misleading actions and behavior. The unfortunate result is a mostly enslaved humanity with very few individual rights and little ability to produce abundance of any kind. The above dynamics have certainly changed and improved through the centuries, but they are still very dominant in the world today. Let’s take a look at how this “design” has been created to benefit the few and disenfranchise the many.

If we acknowledge that the majority of humanity is simply trying to survive or just get by, we will realize that they typically would not have the resources to be productive in society in any meaningful way. Within this group, there are still many who are unable to think for themselves and have to rely on what others tell them. This is terribly unfortunate, for they place themselves, through no fault of their own, in a position to be exploited by those in power. These people are easily swayed and will believe what others have to say, no matter how insane it is. This condition of vulnerability is amplified by the very basic, instinctual need to survive. They are simply searching for answers to their struggle. It is also clear that every human being is equipped with imagination and therefore capable of creating explanations for their difficulties. Without awareness, however, they tend to place the blame and responsibility for their condition where it does not belong.

The motivation of many of those in powerful positions of leadership is to maintain or increase their level of power. These people are very intelligent and are quite aware of the life conditions of others and their subsequent vulnerability. It is clear that, all throughout history, the withholding of money and resources is the most effective way to control the masses. Disinformation and lies can be created and introduced to the masses in order to provide the necessary distraction. It “appears” that it is our political figures who are the culprits here, and some of them are. The reality is that some politicians are merely the vehicle through which the wealthy individuals, families, and corporations of the world maintain their obscene level of power and greed. This is the real distraction. The various conspiracy theories that emanate from the furthest reaches of the imagination are simply the product of these very basic motivations.

It has never been clearer the need for equality and fairness through the equitable distribution of resources. My God, this would help resolve so many of the issues confronting humanity today. The indication is that we have decided which direction we are going through the election of more suitable political leaders. I believe we can be encouraged and hopeful with this development. Unfortunately, the wealthy, both inside and outside the corporate sector, has once again refused to help their fellow human beings. It is always best to have change happen by choice, but this is not always possible. It appears that a forcing process will begin with appropriate taxation.

The age-old dilemma of those that have and those that don’t have has reached a critical juncture and can no longer be avoided. The recent events at the U.S. capitol have shown us in so many ways what needs to be done to change our current conditions. We must not let this opportunity pass us once again through our own apathy. We do have what it takes, and we will emerge from this most recent travesty with clarification and a better sense of ourselves. The individuals and groups responsible for these horrific actions must be held accountable and shown that this is not how we create positive change. We also need to realize that the responsible parties are not merely victims of ridiculous conspiracy theories, nor are they simply victims of the lack of resources. They are influenced by the underlying limitations of fear and hatred which can be found in all of humanity.

Thanks, everyone, for your time today. Disinformation can be dissipated with awareness and right action. Within the darkness is found the light of truth and freedom. Let’s all post that on our pages today!

All my love and support, stay safe and be well
