“The Royal Family”

News 1074604 1920

The British Monarchy is truly a representation of what we’re letting go of as a society. Their power and influence have been greatly diminished over the centuries, and rightly so. The Royal Family lost its political power as a ruling institution when the British countries decided to adopt democracy as the governing structure. But the monarchy still holds sway as a social influence over the last many years, as the British people themselves still believe they have an important say over their lives. Unfortunately, they still maintain quite a bit of power then, because of our willingness to give our power to them. Why is this the case? Let’s take a look at a couple of causes and remember that our goal is always to bring the “attention” back to ourselves.

A major problem that still exists within humanity is our tendency to idolize others. This idolization is based upon what we value as a society. If we consider money and power to be the ultimate indication of success, we can see how the Royal Family is placed on a pedestal. We falsely assume that if a person has such success, they must know something we do not, or they have something we do not. They must therefore be better and more important than we are. We need to also recognize that when we place others on a pedestal, we fail to see the humanness and fallibility that is the same for all of us. It is true that we all have a desire to be better and have more. We must be clear, however, that the former is much more relevant as an indicator of success than the latter. It has come time for us to adjust our thinking in terms of what makes us a better person, you see. It’s all about re-examining our value system.

The problem of idolizing others is twofold. Firstly, the people we give our power away to are placed in a precarious situation. They must be what we expect them to be. This leads to a false representation of themselves by pretending to be something they’re not. Honestly, not only the Royal Family, but all the rock stars, sports figures, and movie stars of the world find it impossible to maintain this false self-image. If we are unable to acknowledge our humanity, the pathway to self-destruction, unfortunately, becomes possible. Secondly, when we place others on a pedestal, we create a false premise that we can never be like them. We can never obtain what they have. This is entirely untrue, of course. To be responsible for ourselves, we must remove the focus we have on others and place it on ourselves. We decide who we want to be and what we want to have. It is absolutely acceptable to have money and things, within moderation and with the proper perspective. It is possible to achieve the appropriate balance.

If we continue to believe that we are unworthy, we will continue to give our money and power away to people who have not earned it. If the Royal Family truly has the purpose of serving the needs of their people, then the appropriate action would be for them to give back all the money and resources they have acquired over the centuries. This would be an honest acknowledgment of their humanness. This is true across the board with all those who have achieved a false sense of power. We can assist in this process by adjusting what we believe to be truly valuable.

Thanks for being here today. Let’s not forget what we’re all here to learn. Our goal is to establish a system of equality based on the realization that we are born of this equality.

All my love and support, stay safe and be well
